![]() ABOUT US
![]() NVMA is an association of veterans and their families that have found a common bond through their military experience and their love of motorcycles. The club is dedicated to the furthering of that bond and the enjoyment of riding without exclusion of military branch or type of motorcycle ridden. In other words we don't care what branch you were in or what kind of bike you ride. If you are looking for a place where brotherhood means more than politics then NVMA is where you belong.
We believe that mutual support within our membership is not only necessary but vital to our mutual well being. That is why our motto is "NO ONE gets left behind". We follow this motto when we ride and when we support governmental issues.
THE PATCH
The NVMA patch is a golden oval with a bald eagle. The spirit of our country. In one talon the eagle holds arrows, which symbolizes our strength in war. In the other he holds an olive branch, this symbolizes our strength in peace. The eagle is standing on a shield emblazoned with the colors of the American flag. This symbolizes our willingness to protect and support our country either in peace or in war. The small medic symbol above everything symbolizes our dedication to the healing process that is needed by all our brothers and sisters in arms who sacrificed their youth in the support of our nation.
The patch is a large 9x11 inches and very brightly colored so that we can see and know our family even over long distances and in large crowds.
MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS
Any one who has served in any branch of the military is eligible for membership. A copy of your DD214 or certificate showing branch of service is required. Also a veteran who is a full member can sponsor his or her immediate family or significant other for membership, but if the relationship changes the membership stays with the DD214 holding member.
We also accept associate members who support the veterans.
After you have submitted your application, there is a 90 day new member period in which we expect you to participate in 2 general meetings, 2 breakfast and 2 rides. This is a period of time for us to get to know one another.
